Fundraising at the FGC

Funds raised go towards supporting both the students and staff of the FGC. The LFGCA funds field trips, educational assemblies, staff appreciation, community-building events for both students and families, and more!

There are two primary ways we fund our budget:

Annual Donation Drive

Our donation drive is a simple method for an annual, voluntary funds collection. Rather than supporting sales drives and fundraisers multiple times throughout the year (who remembers butter braids, chocolate boxes, or even wrapping paper?), we invite you make one donation to support our mission. While donations are greatly accepted throughout the year, we'd love to have as many donations as possible by September 30th. This allows us to finalize our budget and plans.

FGC Staff Gift Fund

In order to show our appreciation to all the staff that makes the FGC such an amazing place, we collect funds in a general gift fund. All money raised will be split evenly among all staff and utilized to purchase both winter and end-of-year gifts. Families are always welcome to handle gift-giving individually, but this is a great option to have something taken off you list! 

 Our annual donation drive  is entirely separate from The FGC Staff Gift Fund donation. Donation drive donations will not be used to purchase teacher gifts. 

We also have the Dragon Den School Store, which sells spirit wear, school supplies, and small gift/novelty items during student lunch hours on Fridays and at select school events. A small percentage of Dragon Den proceeds goes towards support of the LFGCA.
